I am, at my core, a problem-solver. My background in design, web development, and marketing has given me a unique perspective on operational bottlenecks. When I see an inefficiency, I build a solution. For instance, while working on the marketing team for an insurance company, I spearheaded the development of a custom website that automated everything from project management to the generation of branded invoices and marketing materials for customers. These innovations directly improved the customer experience and the workflow of the creative team, yielding substantial time savings, and enhancing efficiency between the sales and marketing teams.
I first began my freelance web design endeavors while still in high school, building a website for a PR firm using Photoshop, HTML, and Notepad. I was entirely self-taught and learned everything from books about HTML.
I graduated from the University of North Texas in 2018 with an Interdisciplinary Art & Design Studies degree from the College of Visual Arts & Design. This provided a comprehensive skill set that is further augmented by a proactive approach to continuous learning. Outside of my professional endeavors, I maintain an active lifestyle. I enjoy running, camping, music production, art, and coding. I'm currently working on an independent comic book project which will be self-published.
